It flashed suddenly one day, a couple of years ago! As a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness engulfed me, I sensed a great sense of gratitude to all the people who made this life of mine so wonderful. Along with that revelation, the sense of the egoistic “me” and “I” seemed to melt away. I awakened to the truth, most humbly, that I was not me; but that I am really the wonderful product of the efforts, care and good intentions of a multitude of people that came and went, many still remaining. My parents, family elders, friends, teachers, spouse, children, co-workers, acquaintances, strangers – oh my!
When I, in the wisdom of my 51 years, weave the wonderful story of my life as a playback of past events, actors and circumstances, I realize that there is no randomness or chaos to the unfolding of the life-plot. I think I will write and enjoy the the rest of my life story in absolute awareness of the miracles that happen all the time. There were very significant turning points in my life. Very specific people, as though chosen for a purpose, were the architects of miraculous events. I now see who those people were. I want to thank each one of them. I call this “My journey of Gratitude”. I want to meet each one of them and tell them how thankful I am to them. I’m sure not all of them are alive and able to offer me the opportunity to meet them. In that case, I will let their progeny know of my deep gratitude.
This blog will be an expression of my gratitude to all those who played a salient role in shaping my life. I plan to write short stories. I will enjoy them, I know. I hope you will join me in my journey of gratitude. I would have not lived fully and correctly if I do not say thanks a few million times.

Love this post. I feel similar with my journey of life, and that very much includes running into you and the conversation we had a couple of days ago. Can’t wait to read more posts.
